Today was a productive day for scheduling doctors appointments. We're leaving tomorrow for Philadelphia as we're meeting with a neurosurgeon (Dr. Leslie Sutton) at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia at 3 pm on Wednesday. We're hoping to avoid any snow storms!
Then, we're scheduled to meet with Dr. Kieran (an oncologist) on Thursday at 2 pm at the Boston Children's Hospital. Thursday's meeting is pending whether Owen's case gets reviewed at Thursday morning's conference (which they will let us know by Wednesday afternoon). I pray that we can see Dr. Kieran on Thursday. We will also be meeting with Yale's oncologist at some point this week.
Next week we should be traveling to Johns Hopkins and Sloan Kettering. The thought is to have a long-term plan of treatment by the end of next week. We thank you for the continuous and thoughtful prayers from across the country.
Owen is doing well - his disposition is great! At his 8 month visit today he weighed 20 pounds and measured 29 inches - he's getting so big!
